Penelope Houston of The Avengers gave Tim Racca Glenn's phone number. Tim called, and was met with a, "Sex, drugs and rock and roll await you guys!" sales pitch. Glenn was right in the middle of the Hollywood scene and booked a lot of the major clubs. Our first visit to his apartment was an introduction to Glenn's version of Hollywood, complete with a look at his Gene Simmons-like scrapbook of all the girls he was nailing.Glenn's influence got us into some big booking's right away - Our 2nd show ever was at The Troubadour, the 3rd was opening two nights at The Whisky for The Runaways. Pretty amazing.
For whatever reason, things started to go south with Glenn, ending with him inviting us to a Dyann Diamond function where he asked us to wear our stage clothes, and realizing he just wanted us as wallpaper to help make his new prodigy look good. We went off with Andrew Epstein and Bob Jones after that and never looked back.
