Jimmy Nicol
I collect a lot of Jimmy Nicol stuff, like the original pic in my room to the right. When Ringo got tonsillitis at the start of their 64' tour, Jimmy got a call to play with The Beatles for a week. He did Sweden, Hong Kong, and finally Australia, before he was given a watch and put on an airplane back to normalcy. He was a great jazz drummer & even played with Sweden's legendary Spotnik's for a few years. Has never capitalized on his week as a Beatle, and still lives quietly in Northern England.

Michael Rowster - An American in London
A blog I've been enjoying the heck out of lately. Michael not only riffs about obscure OC bands, psych and Christian music equally, he even has a link to Eddie Flowers of The Gizmos site. A rare find!
